"The German elections are very difficult to understand from a foreign point of view because there's hardly any polarisation," political scientist Timo Lochocki of the German Marshall Fund of the US told AFP.
Meanwhile the frustrated Social Democrats are faced with an enemy who refuses to engage, with German media nicknaming the lonely Schulz the "Shadowboxer".
"The SPD can't polarise the campaign alone; the CDU doesn't answer, so (the campaign) is dying," said Lochocki.
How can she defend Democracy while making right wing opinions illegal?

That is the freedom part. Who do you think sits in those ex-Stasi jails?

Cdu plus Afd
That must be the goal

actually it is very easy to understand.
the left wing was pro eu, migration, high taxes and so on.
The media too.
so when merkel was doing this unpopular things, the left wing was suddenly in a trap.
either the would go nazi or be silent. they went silent. and now the cant find any topics too score because the real topics are in the hands of afd, a newly created party. and nobody wants to talk with or about the afd because they would change the subject to migration and win votes.
so the media and lefties cant do anything now.
