Hi /pol/. I want to have an intellectual discussion. Leave memes behind for a minute. Before I begin, I'd like to say that this thread is in regard to the Middle Ages in England, and perhaps the Continent.
>Conservatism is Medieval
>Medieval Europe was far more communal than Modern Europe
>Conservatives seek to reestablish community
>Capitalism destroyed Medieval European community, destroyed tradition, reduced community to mere selfish market interactions rather than cooperative communal interactions
>Geimenschaft v. Gesellschaft
>Capitalism sought the centralization of power, along with homogenization of cultures, as decentralization and true diversity causes inefficiencies in the market - not profitable. That's why capitalists what to destroy nations, borders
>Conservatism wants to recapture authority, in forms of the church, patriarchal family with God at the head, and husband below, with wife below
>Conservatism wants to spiritualize society
I guess my question is: How do we promote medieval concepts to get back to a more sane, stable time, in which people worked with one another, had God, had the Church, had the family, and didn't serve some greedy CEO who just wants money.
Yes, serving Kings is better than serving CEO Jews.
Because, let's face it, everything you want is not possible within a system of capitalism. Remember: capitalism serves the Left, not the Right.
