What's the point? Most crime is committed with handguns anyway, only reason rifles get into any news these days is because (((a government agency))) pulled off a psyop and blamed it on some lonely guy. The use of them in criminal activities is quite minimal and once the weapon of choice becomes a handgun they'll just screech for them to be banned as well.

The genie is out of the bottle now anyway. The first AWB was passed before the AR boom of the 2000s. When it sunset, the AR boom happened. There's no going back to pre-2000s America now. It's neither politically viable or logistically feasible. That era is just gone.

Democrats really ought to abandon gun control. It does them no favors. Nobody votes for Democrats because of gun control, but millions of Americans vote against them for it. Such a stupid party.
