I know a few people who've graduated from it and they say it's insane. They don't even want to be teachers because nothing is like it was prior.

They had to do a "privilege walk".... where everyone in their class (future teachers) had to line up. The professor would read out cap like "if you're a white straight male, take 5 steps forward. If you're a female or minority, take 5 steps back." Etc.

Growing up in the 2000s was interesting; I was able to witness the sudden change in education standards, so much so that it felt like two completely different systems.

Grade 1-3 was literally just prioritizing education, then as soon as I hit grade 4 at a new school it was suddenly all about feelings, diversity and accepting each other. We had to suddenly sit in a circle once every week, passing around an object as each kid got to say something about their emotions or their thoughts on a subject like that. It felt stupid at the time, and it feels absolutely retarded now.

I took it in the late 1990s and it wasn't too bad, but some of the profs were definitely anti-US/anti-imperialist types. Most of those types were Euros from, guess where....Sweden & Germany. The Canuck profs all wanted Canada to go full blue-beret UN peacekeepers everywhere.

You could tell none of them had ever done any real policy/situation room work and had just been writing/lecturing their entire careers. Everything was theory and impractical. Their conflict resolution theories all went to shit when regional conflicts all went hot in the 2000s up until today. You cold see the early beginnings of de-emphasizing ethnicity & race in warfare in their lectures. It was always 'economics/social conditioning' BS.

The only entertaining lectures were listening to the Serbs & Croats bitch at each other as this was during the break-up of Yugoslavia. Some of those chicks were super hot, but way too opinionated.
