It would be the ultimate transformation into the party for white people and would secure Gen Z(my generation) as Republican voters. Currently the religious aspects of the party are offputting to many white voters who would otherwise be Republican, and that demographic is growing.

And one question for you pro lifers: if the parent doesnt want the kid, do you really think society should want the kid?
The Poor and minorities should be bribed to have abortions, rather than fighting the practice.

Agreed have a bump

No. Because then you lose the social conservative - big government voters, of which there are FAR more than the voters you seek to attract.
Also, unlike other social issues, support/opposition to Abortion has remained relatively stagnant.
The "fiscal conservative, social liberal" is the biggest fucking meme ever.

You dont lose the social conservative vote because they will vote republican simply because it will become the party of the white people.
Also I bet that is counting opposition to immigration as social conservative

>LMAO GEN Z IS SO CONSERVATIVE AND BAS-
Oh wait.
>>136955059
What point are you trying to make?
>>136952104
Absolutely not. The Republican party was forged in anti-theft rhetoric. They won the Civil War on it.
At the time, it was 'slavery is theft of man's labor' (back when 'man's labor' still actually meant human labor). But now we have the ultimate: "Abortion is theft of an innocent life."
Once we give up on that, the Republican Party, and indeed, the Republic itself, has no reason whatsoever to exist. Just put the ass out for mob rule and be done with it.

"We fucked up on slavery so we have to make sure we continue the tradition of fucking up with abortion"
Also abortion wasn't a political issue until after Roe v Wade
