Currently there is no culture war because one side (ours) refuses to fight. What happens here is, at best, a bunch of irregular guerillias skirmishing.
This will go on until the situation becomes so bad that even the most radical standpoints become acceptable. When human culture will be under threat, under a real, existential threat like it was when the mongols or the turks invaded, then I bet that this war will be over in a year or two, tops.

"The west" united and eager to fight is a force that cannot be stopped by anyone.

Currently however they are asleep. Because despite the worsening of the past years the situation ist still "tolerable" for most.
