Not sure, because if they would use us as their ants training image recognition, that would mean they have no data to verify our answers against. I mean you could pick any answers and it would just gladly verify you solving the captcha, but apparently it has some data to check the answer you provide. So most likely they have already trained their AI for recognizing cars, street signs, etc. I bet these come from Google street view.

I'm laughing right now thinking about that guy who was doing a presentation at work and casually reniggered without even thinking about it.

Some guy was here a few days ago claiming to be a Google employee. He was explaining how the captcha worked before he & the thread deduced that a lot of common images might be a result of the AI trying to make sense of shitposting (eg. "street signs" = "shitting streets"; "storefronts" = "stormfront"; "helicopters"; etc.).

He also mentioned how many of the frontpage doodles are the work of insufferable (even by the company's standards) SJWs who have little in the way of technical talent but were brought in as diversity hires who needed to be given something to work on. All in all, it sounded plausible enough to be true.
