I mean I can attest to just on this site and Facebook alone that a considerable amount of libertarians didn't even support Gary Johnson. How can there be a core when people can't even get behind their party's leader? This leads to people always having "their" definition of libertarianism. Some are AnCaps, some are AnComs, some are AnMutualist (AnMu?), some are relics from the Tea Party days that just want slightly less government intervention and more personal freedom to own guns, refuse service to faggots or anyone, etc.
