Japan surrendered Taiwan to us and not to Chaing Kai Sek because when Japan surrendered Taiwan, Chiang Kai-shek and his followers were still living on Mainland China and did not know that in a few years that they would have to flee to Taiwan.

America gave up such a precious land like Taiwan for no fucking good reason.

If we had kept Taiwan and made a military base on Taiwan, then we would not have needed to put military bases on Japan and any drama from the bases in Japan would never have happened.

Taiwan could have been an entire US military base island that made military bases on Japan unnecessary.

America made some retarded decisions after WW2 that screwed us over, in hindsight.
