Might want to read up on the Patton Diaries

Anyone read this by any chance? I'm a good 1/3rd of the way through the first volume and it's pretty great. There aren't even many mentions of muh poor Jews, it's all just an objective look at the guy's life from childhood to the Battle of Berlin.

If anything this book makes me sympathize with him and his policies more.

The preface explains how this book allowed Germans in the 60's to publicly disavow what their 'horrible' fathers did. Who knows how true that is tho
