I've picked an arbitrary point off of Guam as a landing point for a possible Nork Hwasong-12 ballistic missile landing. It's roughly 35 km from Andersen AFB, which is coincidentally the easternmost point on the island. If the strike is 'enveloping', as the statement last night said, it would likely strike within 20 km of this point (but who knows). I'm trying to locate a hypothetical launch point for shits and giggles, using the info put out in the NK statement last night: https://unvis.it/twitter.com/IntelCrab/status/895406193514082304
Anyone know about trajectories of these things? They are launched via MAZ ( a soviet-era truck) but there would obviously be opportune launch place based on terrain.
TL;DR I'm going full autist.

Here is a pic of the MAZ truck and Hwasong-12

F-15E Strike Eagle top speed 1,875 mph
And we have several of them and likely more advanced planes that are dark - like for instance the stealth Helos that the S.E.A.L team destroyed when they killed bin laden. So figure lots of fast planes ,advanced radar that sees more than we did 20 years ago , satellite cameras that penetrate deeper , and you have an effective continuous picture of enemy movements since basically it's inception. We have had satellites orbiting the Earth and taking pictures since at least the mid 50's so we have been watching Korea , Russia , all of them and learning their habits. Honestly to threaten such advanced weapons systems that have evolved so long is as futile as a fly threating a Lion.
