Leftists want a miserable, joyless world where we can never make light of humanity's darkest conflicts. We can't have a break to share a laugh about Asian Taylor Swift. No, we need to talk about white privilege, all the time, forever. These hate-driven communists are leading us directly into the conflict they claim to be preventing, the most Hellish race war imaginable, on a global scale.
I'm not letting this one go. We need to bring back the race filters. And I have a new solution. It's simple. The exit out of Hell lies at its center. We drive them to the edge. We will show the world what miserly, spiteful creatures these leftists are.
We get on our sockpuppet accounts and begin the movement to remove the gender filters. That's the next logical step. They reinforce the gender binary, and they treat trans identity as a costume. Leftists already hate them, but they won't agitate and protest and screech because they know that the public isn't ready for it. So we force them to screech. We force them into a battle they are avoiding, a battle they know they will lose.
Better yet, be intentionally transphobic. Use the gender filter to openly mock transexuals, and the screeching will come. Normies don't follow this war. When the dust settles, all they will know is that leftists ruined their selfie app.

In this case, I'm making a distinction between normies, who parrot leftist ideas out of habit, and true believer leftists who are more actively engaged in politics, but I see what you mean. Normies are often annoyed when leftists take something too far (at least in a way that affects them personally and obviously), and we can use that to our advantage.
