Yeah, I don't understand how they 'know' the file write times were the ORIGINAL copy being made. They could have been transferred slowly via the internet, then transferred quickly on a local network or USB drive.

I agree that something is very fishy - and I defer to forensic experts on most of this stuff - but I'd like an explanation for how they established that these file times are from the hack itself, and not from handling that took place after the hack. I assume they have one, but they left out the technical details due to the fact they'd go over the heads of most readers.

But the fact that the DNC didn't let the FBI examine the servers is just too damning. All of this evidence pulled together says something's fishy. I just don't see a smoking gun just yet.
