Reminder that Bach is generally considered the greatest composer of all time by classical practitioners and people who appreciate classical music. Even Mozart only approached Bach towards the end of his life.

Agree, Bach was so great and also in my eyes the best composer ever. Modern 'artists' like Rihanna and Bruno Mars probably don't even know him let alone be allowed in the same art form as him, same goes for their 15 y/o cult of followers.

Even when outside of high culture into ear tickling pulp, what can reach the masses in something like Batman is this narrative of order and labor from a billionaire transmuting into legend and fantasy by tacitly engaging in the stretching of superstition. It is a high class hermit coming down like a gargoyle to punish the sinners below while breaking their modern judgement system to stretch it into the doubts of unknown. It is an exaggeration built around the preferences of a corporate serial publishing but so maps the market conscience rather than one writer. It is an idea that is the foam from legacy. Ultimately no redpills will ever make it to an eartickling system but the artistic impression of the West lies beneath the art.

I mean Bach did more for music but then again he would have never been remembered if it weren't for Mendelsohn

No one is really a close contender when it comes to the pure geniuses behind their music. Beethoven however is one of the most celebrated composers while still being alive. Every who was someone at the time of his death came to his official national funeral.
