I am in the service. We do go out, we do go to bars, have dinner with friends, do physical activity. In fact, we do it in style.

I'm 31, if I was called up I would be much older than the men I'm serving with. At that age, people are looked up to as a sort of an older brother and I would embrace that role, using my experience and knowledge to move into an NCO position so that I could see that youngfags like most of you here make it out alive.

If there was conscription, I would volunteer for that reason alone... To do my best to make sure that you guys made it home alive. That would be my primary motivation... Because in that case, any choice of conscientious objection is futile and we're all in it together.
