Always found this shit to be common this time of year. Demand increasing every year while the network gets older. It's not surprising that it breaks in a few areas and they need to slap a new patch on it. Something that has always annoyed me is that we waste so much money on frivolous social programs and short term projects and completely disregard the core inferstructure that keeps our nation's running which is falling apart. There is going to come a point where it will simply be so expensive to keep putting bandaids on the problem that we will have to completely overhaul things like the power grids. I hope it's sooner rather than later.
