In case OP is legit, I've been to jail a few times, it's not that bad, but last time I got put on some shitty jail in the middle of bum fucking nowhere in a town with a population of fucking 704 (fairplay CO). The jail was legit smaller than a middle school, but holy FUCK were people mean there. I learned that it served as a transit point for inmates for the Florence federal prison, those guys don't fuck around. The best advice I can give you is to of course not start any shit with anybody, but also don't be too sperg because those mother fuckers will start picking on you at the slightest chance. I got kicked out of my cell once and just left outside like a dumbass because we had the corner cell and I was unfortunately placed with the hardest people in the ward which ended up liking me btw but one of them was sent to prison and they started shifting shit around (the inmates) so I ended up standing outside like a dumbass with all my shit in the hallway and the guards didn't give a shit until I was placed with some old fucking bum that would fart extremely loud every fucking 5 minutes no joke, good thing he fucking moved out after the third day. I did make a friend and was relatively cool with everyone mostly because I just watched TV or read books or lifted weights but knew how not to sound like a sperg faggot when approached.
