No matter your stance on this whole google scenario, you really should be using DDG's google bang. Just putting "!g" before or after your quarry routes your search through DuckDuckGo and displays Google results. It gives them an extra search and you still get Google's results. To be clear, this literally just search is Google for your same query, but also gives DuckDuckGo an extra search to help them out. I don't really care cause they respect my privacy, and it's actually automatically read through Google encrypted. The start page one is also really cool too.
