cause black people vote democrat and they don't like black people. If poor white people banded with poor black people, they could overthrow the rich. Also "muh fetus" and "muh assault rifle" and general lack of understanding of how economics work and why the republicans want what they want with the economy (its cause their rich asses will make more money and workers rights and environmental protection stops them from it). Not to say democrats understand economics, they just understand enough to at least know that regulation is required sometimes to save capitalism from itself, but usually thats only a last ditch scenario to stop the peasants from revolting or (more commonly) a form of corporate welfare. Also the whole "not poor just temporarily embarrassed millionaire" mentality is at play for republicans. The ACA sucks cause democrats are pussies cause they're designed to be. Literally fully socialized healthcare or fully capitalist healthcare would be better. The mix of the two is just corporate welfare. All they do is talk about "diversity" while being economically right wing on the DL. This is because it pacifies the left from questioning consumerism or implementing real socialist policies while social justice makes them feel like they're accomplishing something (they're not, just making a more diverse customer-base for the corporations they hate). This is because the democrats talk in the interest of the poor, but act in the interests of the rich. Both sides, same puppet masters. The system is rigged so only the rich win.
