For me, it happened yesterday for the first time. I mean I've seen a few black people in my life, but I never talked to one. Here in Serbia they are extremely rare to see, in my city (Belgrade, the capital) you can only stumble upon them somewhere around the center of the city, and even then they are rare. I knew this kid in high school, first ever black dude I met. Name was Quincy Jones. And his Mom drove a Jaguar. He had a small afro but was well spoken.

First one was the one that was in my highschool. It was a country high school at that. Seemed like a down to earth cool guy. Nobody said racist crap to him. Our parents raised us not too look at skin color. He fit in fine. Wasn't popular with girls, but seemed to be just an ordinary fellow.

Then i left that HS and went to college and was around more than 1 black person, and i realized the truth. I realized that while i will raise any future children to not judge off skin color, that its really a lie. Good ordinary black poeple are as rare as gold falling from the sky.

Coincidentally, i ran into that same black guy we went to HS with about 3 years after graduation. He was now in college elsewhere. I barely recognized him. Ran into him in radio shack. I talked to him for a second, and he said him and his friends were in there looking for some stuff and smiled and winked. Needless to say there were in there stealing.

Fact is, most whites were taught to never judge off skin color and that blacks are just ordinary good people who have had a rough road in life. And if your only exposed to one or 2 then that may seem true. Then you get around more than 1 or 2 and you realize the truth. The first time i saw a black person IRL was in my school, he was my language teacher, he was alright and chill.
Also the P.E teacher was also black, he was alright as well.
Both were cuban immigrants, this was back in 5-7th grade btw.

I was fucking my girlfriend upstairs when my brother ran into the room and told that there were niggers outside our house, and they were breaking into my car.
