The greens are an irrelevant party IMO. They were different and ahead of their time 25 years ago. But now every major party matches them for environmental policy. And some smaller meme parties go further; TOP and the Outdoors party for instance.

Well this poll was last week. Apparently internal polling this week has the greens at 6%. I think that was what forced the issue, the very real prospect they would be wiped from the political landscape. Its all hearsay atm, but shits been real murky and she's been shifty all along not telling the full story. The telling thing is she said she was registered at his address because she wanted to be in the Mt Albert electorate to vote for her friend. But she was running in that electorate in Mt Roskill, so why not be registered there so you can actually vote for yourself. Nothing adds up about anything she said.

Also one of my lecturers says apparently the Law Society are investigating her admission of fraud. With a view to getting her struck off the bar so she can no longer practice.

Considering the poll didn't take into account Turei leaving, and no one even knows who James Shaw is, it's a real possibility. They could in theory drop Greens and coalition with NZFirst anyway and it'd only upset a handful of voters and they won't give a shit if it gets them into power.
