What does /pol/ think about transhumanism?
Any there any transhumanists here?
Is it inevitable?
Is it a stupid fucking idea?
Are you so self aware and enlightened that you know yourself? Are you such an expert on humanity that you can say with certainty its flaws and how to fix them? If not, then yes it is a stupid fucking idea because conflict of interest.

I'm not really a transhumanist but then again I have some odd ideas and I could possibly be considered one.
It's probably inevitable.
We were dumb to reject eugenics the first time, we'll pretty much have to accept what genetic engineering can offer though.
It's not a stupid idea at all. It could/will actually solve a lot of problems like our impending demographic crisis.

Transhumanism? It's my fantasy, but I acknowledge that it's not physically possible.
I don't even care about immortality, really.
I just think flesh is fucking disgusting.
I'd rather live 10 years as a machine than 100 years as a bag of rotting meat
