So I was bored and reading up a little on the history of the People's Temple founded by Jim Jones and found some interesting info:

Do young people today not know about history or do they not care? How do leftists not realize they're just as brainwashed as these cult members were and the end game is just the same? How do they excuse things like this happening repeatedly throughout history and still claim they're "educated"? The left/democrats are pushing for these exact metrics today and people are dumb enough to fall for it for some reason. Is this the final redpill? Thoughts?

How is a direct quote from Jim Jones himself, on film, recorded by a non-biased reporter "a CIA lie" exactly? He straight up said they were communists. He even preached that religion was bad and their goal was socialism/communism. What kind of mental gymnastics do you have to do to not see that when he said it himself?

Not only that, but the entire Marxist/socialist craze of the 60s is glossed over. The counter culture in history class was basically presented as a party, drugs, and rock music cult of draft-dodgers who saved the day by helping blacks and women get equal rights.
