Should I just work my pipe laying job, come home and read my Bible and just work on my guitar playing or should I become "social" and attend events such as the one posted below?
It sucks not being able to travel to a different country everyday like these girls on Instagram. Sometimes I think that I'm not doing something right, or I'm missing out on life. Alcohol, Koon Tunes, and Smelly people getting locked and crowded in a room just does not sound like my cup of tea. Why do people love this lifestyle and not want to work, have goals, raise kids, and live a respectable life anymore?
What happened? What can be done to change things?

Construction Job, plays guitar, reads Bible, lack of friends or girl friend. Everybody has their parents money to spend on nice vacations every week or so to places like the Bahamas or Jamaica. Those people get talked to because they have more followers. I just still live in this small town I grew up in...

What the fuck is that? Pipeline construction has many jobs (and many profitable jobs). Choose wisely, have career path then make money.
Socializing with young people is worthless because they are shit. Make money and only interact with people smarter, more experienced humans who can help your career.
