A strong priority on integrating disparate cultures from day one, most importantly the french and anglos, and even the first nations. Getting along and being polite is as important to Canada as America believes in America, fuck yeah!

Having the US as a big, powerful neighbor has a reactionary effect. Canada puts a HUGE priority on specifiying a unique Canadian heritage.
