Sounds like you've never played golf, you utilize the entire body when you swing and "work out" the upper torso and back pretty good aswell as your arms and wrists when you turf it with irons.
Playing golf is actually quite fun and challenging and you definately will break a sweat from all the walking unless you drive in a golfcart in which you can pretty much get the entire course done in 1½-2h . Also it creates a pretty nice nature experience. I don't get why people think golf is something where you just kind of sit and scratch your ass.
