I had a neighbor long ago and she was a prisoner in Auschwitz and she told us that there germans did horrific experiments on people, mostly medical ones and on children and not many survived those. She said that they did mainly x-ray experiments on her and that she was lucky since others were being hacked to bits. She died of cancer.

From what I've been taught, there were between 2.5 and 3 million Jews killed in death camps. Additionally Einsatzgruppen carried out mass killings throughout Eastern Europe. I have the feeling that we are going to agree on the fact that we disagree.

Silesia was for a long part under German rule like some of the terretories you mentioned, so there is a heavy influence of German culture. Also entire Silesia got Germanized during the second world war. Sometimes when we are Krakow visting old friends they recall how family fought in Breslau (Wroclaw).

Also the entire Bohemia thing and to some minor extent Prussia but it didn´t have much influence as they were Protestant and catholics in that region felt quite uneasy about that influence.

There is a reason why there is a independence movement, well atleast if we don´t talk about german agents leading all that.

if you look at the history of a lot of Europe (especially western europe) you see that there were a lot of people working with the Nazis and kind a liking them too, in France there were a lot of people who worked with the Nazis and also Renault built war machines for the Germans and I heard that especially the resistance movement in France was propagated far bigger after the war than it actually was (same with resistance in Shitaly), how was it in Poland were they really those victims they claim?
