But if Operation Barbarossa was a success in the actual time frame allotted to it, so sometime by the end or near the end of 1941 then the US would not only have no excuse to go to war but Britain probably would be forced to surrender. The Americans then can't just bomb Germany in peacetime and with all the new resources and spare time, Germany could finish it's own nuclear bomb much faster than the Americans. Cold War situation develops except unlike the USSR, Germany is actually a competent country that would know how to use all those new resources at her disposal and maybe even defeat America (Ideologically, militarily is probably unlikely)
