It's true. I live near San Fran and have met a lot of gays and trannies. Most of the trannies are obviously autogynophiles. Most start out thinking they are straight, then have a period of confusion where they may think they are gay or bi, then go down various gender queer routes and end as trans. But barely any are actually interesting in men. They still want women, even after taking hormones. This is because ultimately they are attracted to women, and so are attracted to the idea of themself as a woman. Some will have sex with men, but it's not really because they are androphiles (as regular gays are), it's because they are basically experiencing the sex from a third person perspective, with themselves the object of their fetish.

What makes it worse is that autogynophilia can vary with mood and various hormone balances. I had a period in my early 20's where I thought I was Bi (partly due to being young and suggestable and being in a totally pozzed area.) However, over time I noticed that my bicuriousness only existed when I was fatigued. After some more time, I realized it was a specific combination of fatigue and poor diet. When I started eating better, I stopped experiencing any alternate desires, my libido got stronger, but only towards women.

The point is that humans are insanely malleable. These individuals are imbalanced, and then get pushed down the wrong path. And then they join the ideology/identity group which means they can never go back, even when their feelings and desires change. They have to keep re-inventing new identities to deal with their fluctuating emotions and brain chemicals.

It is a mess.

I am a person who felt some attractions under certain circumstances a long time ago, so I get what the deal is. But I didn't act on them and they went away. I preferred women even then.

'Repressed' implies that the desire still exists and that I must exert effort to keep it down. It wasn't a huge deal at the time, nor is it now. And especially after seeing what has happened to so many of my peers who did embrace the gay and trans lifestyle, I'm very glad that I stuck with women.

Blanchard still believes that gender dysphoria from AGP is incurable and should be treated with transition, so his theories really don't suit you guys' agenda.

As well, if you care about the truth at all, blanchard's conclusions are highly flawed and unsupported even by his own studies. The biological model (in which AGP feelings would be assumed to be caused by brain incongruence and dysphoria, not the other way round) has much more evidence behind it.
eg.
