Some (not all) of the women hired at my company have an incredible work ethic. Two that come to mind in particular are extremely bright and work late if someone on the team it behind/fucked something up. They're amazing software engineers, one is from MIT and one is from a school in Florida called UCF and she's still great at what she does. There's shitty entitled women on the team too, but there's also shitty entitled men.

I have to speak out.

As an employee for a prominent company that has to rely on YouTube/Google to get our company's message out there, I was deeply concerned about their new censorship policy, but now I'm actually worried my company's content will be pulled. Danielle Brown has demonstrated to me that Google/YouTube is a corporatist institution. I don't know about the board of directors but I know the company, under her management, doesn't care about its employees or its users. It doesn't care about diversity. Their diversity is anti-diversity, and by firing the employee that wrote that manifesto, they proved his point.

He put himself on a cross. He's a braver man than I am (or any of you for that matter) because I can lose my job and be blacklisted in my industry. What I do is hard work. I put countless hours into video editing suites to meet deadline after deadline. 12 hour days. I LITERALLY cannot afford to throw that away for the money I'm making just to pay bills.

I have contacts in Google and I CANNOT breathe a word of this to them. You are all witnessing corporatism in action. Please speak out about this guys. For the good of the internet.

Specifically from ads around search. Ditch their search and kill the Google. Ad blockers don't help much because while they do keep cookies, they also build a profile on their end, so eventually you get "customized" search even in incognito mode with an add blocker.

Hey - is RedTube gone? I loved the idea, and it would actually solve all of this, at least wrt YouTube, if people bought into it. I didn't, only because it would have required attaching my real name, via credit card, to my alt-right video viewing. Use bitcoin or something and /perhaps/ more might use it. Actually I guess I could keep one of those anonymous cards going, just keep topping it up. Hmm.. Anyway I hope you guys haven't dropped it, because that seems a cleaner way to solve this, and certainly less fanciful than creating an alt-right version of YouTube.
