Brexit wasn't an inherently conservative change. It used to be the left that wanted to leave the EU. Corbyn always wanted to leave the EU. Really, education is important, but just as important is how education is used. It should be intended to develop critical thinking and fundamental understanding of concepts on up to more complex concepts, with some notable alternate theories here and there, finally, once a working knowledge has been demonstrated, perhaps explore some fringe ideas. When you break down these conversations that the left has, they admit that they hate people going into STEM because they tend to become conservative, which is essentially wrong think to them. When I was in grad school for engineering, this communications undergrad was always ripping on me for being conservative and I snapped a couple of times when she called me stupid. I'd ask her to fucking define induction, or explain the difference between AC and DC and she was fucking clueless. She'd say it's all specialized stuff form my field. I learned it in fucking highschool. Some bitch that has never heard of epigenetics or polymorphism is going to lecture me about evolution and how you can't be Christian and believe evolution. All she ever did was repeat rhetoric. Species ability to change and adapt does't prove or disprove a creator. But such concepts would leave her screaming at me that I'm an idiot. I eventually cut her off . I understand evolution and genetics and the universe we are in many times better than she does.

I just grow weary of "discussions" with such people. It's nothing but her shitting on what I think and insulting me, then trying to convert me. I never did that to her. How is it even a friendship if that's all these people want to do? She never made any good points either. It was just repeating offensive rhetoric. It's so arrogant to be called stupid by someone whose hardest class (college algebra) was beneath every class I had my first semester (Calc for scientists and engineers, Chem for scientists and engineers, C Programming, and Engineering 101). It's really amazing. Meanwhile she has an entire class devoted to body language and it's easy as fuck. Multiple choice tests, concepts like, "If someone has their arms folded infront of their chest, this means they are uncomfortable with you or even aggressive." I'd ask her for sources on stuff like that and "It's in my textbook" is all I got.

I worked at the astronomy club and girls that show up on public viewing nights would ask the stupidest questions. "I've always wanted to know, what's closer to Earth, the sun or the moon." That's no joke, a college girl really asked me that.

Sometimes these guests would hand around longer or talk more. What would amaze me is, after asking fuck damn stupid questions that should never be asked if you have an ounce of reason in your head, they would eventually get into politics and argue with us and even call us stupid.

Your wage goes from $7.25 cents an hour, to $8.50 an hour, but now if the franschise fails your share of the debt is $730,000. I tried to explain this using examples I could look up on a smart phone. He thought that risk was just some made up shit. That as long as the group owns it, then you don't owe anyone. Ok yeah, you're just a moron and why am I wasting my time talking to you.

It's truly amazing how stupid the non STEM college students are. I can't trust them to perform above the average population. Yet their majors are crammed with White Privilege classes, and "Psychology of Racial Prejudice" "Emotional intelligence" and "Homosexuals in Literature"

Yeah... That makes them so much more "Educated" than me. The whole lot of Remainers in the UK probably couldn't solve a quadratic equation without looking it up to save their life.

At my astronomy club I had an artists rendition of our galaxy and showed where earth was in the galaxy. A grown female college student asked me for the name of the satellite that took the picture of the galaxy, I then had to explain it was physically impossible for a satellite to take an external image of our galaxy using todays technology.
