There is a virtual laundry list of disqualifying mental conditions let alone medical, criminal history, past drug use, etc, etc.

You basically have to lie to get into the service. Its standard in a recruiting office to be guided to say no if you are asked about anything.

No = new opportunities

Yes = your enlistment stops

And if you say yes for anything at all youll probably need a waiver.

Hell, your identity upon entry means dick. The whole point of bootcamp is to dismantle your identity and rebuild it. Didnt this guy transition after his service and his 2 failed marriages? Well who gives a fuck? Why do trans people get the support and not anyone else with a disqualifying condition but is gendernormative?
