having worked my way up in the tech world to a good income I can't seem to explain to younger people that their job is fairly worthless and concentrating effort and time into personal growth, socialising, health and outside of core work interests is in their long term benefit.

They just can't see that although they are 20 now, they will be 40 soon and then 60, spending your life perfecting network support in your 20s and 30s with no kids, overweight and depressed although earning enough to afford a home and car isn't the best way to life your life.

with autmoation in the news why fight something that can bring you happniess , even if it hurts a bit at first.
