One recurring theme in the bible is that Satan offers humans powers and abilities that trick them into believing that they will achieve heaven on earth, allowing them to rise above god and ignore his laws for they do not need his heaven anymore.
In that sense you could interpret Communism as exactly that - Satanism, for it proclaims to do create utopia while curiously creating hell on earth whenever it is attempted.
