The thing is, when I see a black person on my day-to day routine on the Moscow streets, or public transit, or university, I see a guy in tidy, modest but stylish clothes. collected and disciplined, with an above average intellect and character, probably and African student, or an American businessman. Always respectful to people around them, but also happy to share his exotic customs and camaraderie, but above all, with the eyes on the prize, be it education, side job, or career.
Such a pity that the Soviet Union failed to save them from American Imperialism, racism and exploitation.
