Pz6 (Tiger) had the same shitty box design as the Pz4. It had an AA gun instead of an actual AT gun because Hitler loved the 88 AA.

The Pz5 and Tiger2 were good designs, but unreliable, hard to produce,and a rough copy of the T-34 design, kind of like the AK is a copy of the StG44.

The only advantage the T-34 had over the upgunned Panzer IVs was sloped armor and ease of production. That's it. It didn't start hurting until the T-34/85 hit the field. But by then, the Panther and Tigers were already in production and in the field.

The T-34 was like the Sherman. The only things better about them compared to German machines was simplicity and ease of production. The common sense thing to do is to fill your order before you retool the factories to solely produce tank B's.

This is why Germany was still producing Pz2's in 1944.

The H wasn't that great either. All the extra armor made it sluggish and the lack of sloped armor made it less efficient than T-34s, Shermans, and Panthers.

Not to mention late in the war they dropped the H variant to produce J's, which were essentially H's without the fancy stuff like auto rotating turrets and skirts.
