Whenever I'm at an airport, subway or train station, or really any kind of service/transportation I am struck by how dirty and ugly most of it is. If you go to some places in Europe or East Asia you will immediately see how inferior a lot of American services are. What's the deal? Why is everything so disgusting? Whenever I have to use trains I hate it because there's always random weirdos/minorities approaching me asking for money and giving shifty looks. And it seems like tons of the service employees are foreign immigrants who can barely speak english
