It wasn't really a trip at all. It was like the real world melted, slipped away and the new world was a structure made entirely of light. Solid light is how I'd describe it. It was multicolored, like light shooting out from a prism.

Anyway, I felt every emotion I was capable of feeling all at once when the giant on the left reached out with his hand in a fist, and slowly moved it toward me. It seemed to break through an "invisible" bubble around me. I didn't notice the bubble until it did that. The bubble closed around it's arm, it's fist got close to my face, then it turned it's fist around and opened it's... Hand? I guess? to be palm-up in front of my face.
I then reached out to touch it, and as soon as we made contact... It all disappeared. Like in the blink of an eye I was out of it entirely. I had tears streaming down my face and I couldn't tell you why. The last thing I remember was trying to touch the giant... light... demon thing.

I dropped a tab last night and furiously rode my road bike across the canals of Phoenix. There's something really significant about being able to take a step back from your personality and perspective and evaluate it, and LSD let's you do that. It changes you because it makes you aware of things you (or really, your ego) have hidden from yourself, your blindspots, your self denial. The shift in perspective it gives you, the wholeness of it.. you can't really describe it. But for those who have never experienced it, I feel for them. Fortunately, everyone gets the psychedelic experience at least once in their lifetime. When they fucking die.

However getting there, either through DMT, LSD, mescaline, or another route while your still alive can be an extremely powerful and life changing experience. You can see there is more to existence than this fleshy prison. You can understand there is mystery in the infinite and power in your life.

Go into any experience thinking you'll take nothing out of it and that's the most likely outcome.
