Is there a point to even continue this endless struggle. How do we live on in a world where the obvious truth is there before us, yet people will actively deny themselves the ability to acknowledge it. What drives people to live in disbelief?
Is there a point to Nihilism? All it does is lead you to your own degradation and suffering, yet fighting it for the sole purpose of bettering yourself, your future, and your kin just ends up to not. Even if you care, the people who don't care will damn you.

I think it has to do with people being told their opinion matters and that they're free to believe what they want.
While that is super important to have in a free culture, it needs to be pointed out to people that what they learned about how they see the world could've been completely wrong the whole time and they need to be able to learn that the opposite may be true. Otherwise they're going to believe that their outlook is the only correct one.
