CIA controls the entire opiod market. Afghanistan is the supplier. Al Qaeda forbid Afghani warlords from growing Poppies in the late 1990s. We invade after 9/11 and destroy them and strike deals the warlords who start growing poppy in mass once more. They, in turn, rile up the locals to fight with US Troops giving America a false sense of having to stay there and fight the terrorists allowing the CIA to transport the opium under the guise of operating against terrorists

Knowing there are forces so sinister is a big reason why I left my edgy fedora stage years ago. I'm certain we are living in literal hell. The blood curdling brilliance of the deception is the way it's masked as a benevolent incompetence with good intentions. I want off this ride.

The coalition don't care about muh freedoms and muh democracy. Afghanistan serves as a major military hub(especially for the drone war in the region) to control pakistan and in the future Iran. Also since the opium production increased over the years the american enemies in that region(Iran,Russia and China) suffer major drug problems with lot of deaths and costs.
Also recently read that new discovery's shows that afghanistan has huge "Rare-earth element(rem)" resources. Google it thats very important to control the future market of high tech products
>>
>>136299632
And that is?
>>
>>136292752
Just out of curiosity, I did a germination test on some of these:

https://jet.com/product/detail/8cc130d2f8dd488585f928ea3cfbde88?jcmp=pla:ggl:JD_cons_Win_Grocery_a3:Grocery_Pantry_Spices_Seasonings_a3:na:PLA_786230766_41175447516_pla-303545359338:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15&pid=kenshoo_int&c=786230766&is_retargeting=true&clickid=1f491ee7-8f99-5e68-db6a-000055a65057

They germinated. I have no idea what their opiate concentrations would be, but those are papaver somniferum seeds. If you want, you can also order these:

https://strictlymedicinalseeds.com/?s=papaver+somniferum&post_type=product&tags=1&ixwps=1

And those are the real deal. FYI, growing them in the US is legally ambiguous. They actually are a striking flower if you want something decorative, and the seeds have legit culinary uses. However, if you start scoring the seed pods and collecting the resultant latex, it is no longer a legal grey area and you are in violation of the Controlled Substances Act along with whatever state laws in the state that you live in.

IMO, having some seeds on hand is a good idea if you're worried about SHTF, because opium was one of the ancient world's pain killers. They'd eat the dried latex instead of smoking it or isolating specific compounds (like heroin) and injecting them. That made it less addictive.

If you want another analgesic on hand that does not cause physical dependence, look to wild lettuce, sometimes called opium lettuce. When it bolts (produces a flowering stalk,) It produces a bitter latex. That's your painkiller.

Afghanistan has huge deposits of Rare Earth Elements. REEs are used in lots of technology most notably military tech. China corners the market due to them having a monopoly on them. It's essentially Iraq pt. 2 except the American public don't know about it

Because nobody has the balls (or rather, the American public doesn't have the balls to allow its commanders) to get the job done right, i.e. outright exterminate half of Afghanistan-Pakistan.

And nobody has the balls to outright go to the American public saying "we've lost and all that money and all those soldier's lives were spent in vain".

So every commanding officer just lingers in that half-state of not going anywhere until events will inevitably lead them to another helicopters-leaving-the-embassy moment of embarrassment... They just hope they can finish their round before then and it won't be their ass on the line for the inevitable witch-hunt that follows.
>>
1. Our presence right in the middle of that corridor cuts off any imperial expansion into that region from the Chinese, Pakistanis, Iranians, or Russians.

2. Cutting into a huge slice of the opioid market.

3. Surrogates in the Afghan government serving the interests of multinational corporations involved in developing industry and acquiring resources throughout the region.

4. Constant military presence in a hostile environment ensures a constant demand for military research and development, pushing the technology and effectiveness of our military while continuing the wealth and success of our private defense industries.

5. Afghanistan's harsh tribal culture remains a vital feeder to anti-Western insurgent operations.

If we kill them, who is going to farm the poppy? Who is going to mine the minerals all throughout that region? There is a trillion dollars worth of ore in that country, at least. It's ironic because they're too poor to afford the technology to dig it all up right now! So we are going in there with private contractors to do it for them, and hopefully, within a generation, these people will have enough literate and skilled professionals to provide a backbone to their industry. If we kill them all, then they won't be there in ten years to mine all of the lithium sitting beneath their mountains, and then you will have to go there to do it.
