A case for competitive centrism

The more I see the left and right fight, the more I realize I identify as neither and refuse to be labelled as either.

Here's an example of a debate about the environment, that centrists might have. Instead of strawmen arguments about how one side wants to poison the planet, while the other wants to be so restrictive they stifle big business. The debate among centrists would be how you can protect the planet with as little impact on big business as possible. Maybe even benefiting big business and the environment at the same time.
