Ever since I've been getting close to getting a job I've been leaning Libertarian meaning less taxes, fewer regulations and less laws imposing on my personal freedom but I do believe in state held Healthcare and Education along with a welfare system for those who need/deserve it.

What can I even call my self? I've searched up "Libertarian Socialist" and gotten quite odd results with rabid leftists and an ideology I don't feel comfortable with.

So what would you call someone with Statist and Libertarian ideals?

Also what books could I educate myself on this I have a very limited understanding of Keynesian and Austrian economics along with core "socialism".

It's bullshit, socialism means to socialise or nationalise industries which is strictly not libertarian. The basic fact is Marxism is a faulty toolkit for achieving left wing libertarianism and only truly successful at creating corrupt states and mechanisms for the citizens themselves to topple them, namely placing all the citizens in government employment so they can destroy the government just by collectively striking or practicing civil disobedience.

You have to realise how obviously self destructive Marxism is?

Capitalism also breeds many problems. Outsourcing, mechanization of jobs and unfair wage gaps with the middle class decreasing and the rich getting more rich.

I would propose nationalization of some industries our healthcare is ok being under the state but I would not mind a private sector to be allowed and we should restrict union powers in some situations like teachers whom us Canadians have a problem with.

What is your propose/rebuttal to my first question and your opinion on my second statement?

>Capitalism also breeds many problems
Yes. Sociological or nationalistic states are difficult, complex things to even define that create their own problems out of complexity. Thank you for reminding me why I'm a form of libertarian.

>Outsourcing,
Ultimately cause by an authoritarianism, marxism or globalism.

>mechanization of jobs
Not a bad thing in high IQ societies.

>unfair wage gaps with the middle class decreasing and the rich getting more rich.
So the inequality itself is a problem for you?

> nationalization of some industries our healthcare
Whenever nationalism is involved, I want to ask, who is it for? The workers or the consumers? Sure, you can fix wages with force and aggression but if you're fixing wages for workers you'll have expensive healthcare or huge taxes and if you fix healthcare for the consumers then you're asking some of the smartest people in our society to work for free.

You can't win here.

a faggot
where the fuck do you think "Healthcare and Education along with a welfare system for those who need/deserve it" comes from?
you can't expect to pay few taxes and then have the government pull some money out of their ass to pay for all your little extra shit
and i thought burgers were supposed to be the stupid ones here

>not being on the cutting edge by advocating for a separation of state and education. Like the church.

libertarianism was originally a word used to describe socialists in france because the word anarchist was banned.

left libertarians don't believe in nationalization of industry but rather in the fact that both corporations and governments are tyrannical, so they should both be limited in the power they can get;

examples of libsoc societies include revolutionary catalonia, makhno's ukraine, and present day rojava
