>He starts walking up to us
>Other checkers say Herman is here

>He walks up to us and the first thing he says in a thick german accent

>He hangs out for like 5 minutes and says some random shit
>Later learn he fought for the Nazis on the eastern front, moved to America and then fought in Korea
