I just heard that if you combine every billionaires wealth in America you will only have 400 billion. Enough to pay 3/4 of the American military budget for ONE YEAR. Same applies to other countries as well. The wealthy have more wealth per person but overall have much much less wealth than the middle class.
This means that the wealthy aren't even a big drain on society because all their wealth combined won't be enough to solve any real society problem. I also read profit margins are 1-5 percent meaning they get 1 - 5% of all production, so even mass redistrubtion won't achieve much.
This is literally changing my entire life and no matter where i go i can't stop thinking of this since i always took it for granted that all economic problems could be solved if you taxed the rich a bit more.

I'm not sure where you are getting your numbers. Forbes says it's 2.4 trillion. Your point still stands, but your number is way off.
