The real 2nd amendment case was McDonald v. Chicago, which was also decided 5 to 4.

That decision incorporated the second amendment against the states through the Fourteenth Amendment due process clause. Until the 1900s, the bill of rights applied only to the federal government and the states could pass whatever laws they like. However, the supreme court invented the selective incorporation doctrine where they went through each part of the bill of rights and applied it against the states. Today only the 7th amendment does not apply to the states.

Once an amendment gets incorporated against the states, it can never be undone, except by constitutional amendment. Our gun rights are safe forever.

IMHO, Hillary would of engineered the collapse of the US as we know it. She would've moved us towards a North American Union, as far as Russia goes.
