My best friend studies Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tennessee and is really interested in the thorium-liquid salt reactors that were developed initially at Oak Ridge.
The sad thing is that most of the people who worked on the original reactor are dead or dying and most of the papers describing it were destroyed.
