You other idiots in here are missing the big picture; cutting down immigration shifts the Overton window to the right.

Instead of lefties trying to defend illegal immigration and open borders, they're thrown off balance and have to start defending legal immigration.

Then the right can push the window further by proposing a ban on all non-white immigration or any immigration altogether.
