Mason/Plasterer here for over 15 years, if anyone is curious about the trade.
What if I just got a trailer and moved to Washington and paid like $600 in rent but the minimum wage is $15hr. That would be like $25 in another state where apartment rent is average $700 and pay is low.

Do not work in IT.
Only worthwhile if you are able to reach the most difficult levels (Network architect, lead programmer, etc), but if you have the intelligence needed to do that, it is better spent elsewhere.
IT Support technician is on par with stacking shelves at a supermarket these days, this isn't 1990.
Go to flight school and move to Alaska. Pilots are always in demand up here and make great money. I'm 24 and I make about $60,000 a year, enough to live the lifestyle I want comfortably. With a few more years of training I could work long haul flights for a major airline and double that number. I have property that is inaccessible except by plane with a comfy cabin and landing strip. My plane cost me $45,000 and is completely paid off. Being a bush pilot is the pinnacle of red pulled career choices. Be your own boss, take your own jobs, live and travel freely. It's the dream. Pic related is my daily driver.

Self-employed, but I usually won't go under ~$50/h.

No, but I got 30+ years until a shitty pension, so by the end of it I'm sure it'll be fucked.
