I bought the new Dinesh D’Souza book "The Big Lie" at the beginning of the week. I had some trepidation with the thesis of "The Left learned from fascists so both the Commies and Nazis were/are left wing".

I was a solid Reagan Republican for decades, so I figured I wouldn't mind some more disparaging info to pile on Antifa. (I gave up on the GOP around 2007, but still root for them to win over the Dems)

The problem is I went in somewhat red-pilled on Hitler and the rise of the Third Reich. The blanket statements the author uses as jumping off points are either grossly ignorant or deceitful lies based on other authors' accounts of Hitler and Fascists.

Alarm bells sounded in my head when he attributed Mein Kampf early on. My recollection of history wasn't jiving to what he was peddling.

So I shelled out 99 cents and purchased Mein Kampf on eBook.

Shit book by Dinesh D'Souza confirmed. There is no way he read Mein Kampf, but attributes it often.

I learned more useful information from Hitler this week. The first few chapters about nationalism and why commies suck are gangbusters.

If people want, I can post some of the lines in that other book that drove me up a wall.
