What capitalism needs is competition in the workplace, not in the job market.
Focusing competition in the job market glorifies first impressions and encourages those who land a job to be lazy pieces of shit just because they were able to bullshit their way through an interview that one time.
If you gameify and insentivise and reward competition within the workplace and make the overall job market less tough to break into, it will both tap into the competitive nature of man, thus decreasing lethargy and improving the general quality of performance in society.
People of course should also have the option to land a consistent wage if they don't want to participate in the competitive area of their workplace. i.e. women.
